S.O.U.L. Foundation’s 4th Annual Golf Outing will take place at the Paramount Country Club on September 18, 2017. All proceeds from the event will benefit S.O.U.L. Foundation’s efforts to build a state-of-the-art Birthing Center and Emergency Transport System.
Ugandan women and their newborn infants continue to die needlessly from preventable causes as a result of the three delays they face in accessing healthcare. At least 4,700 women die annually and Uganda’s Neonatal Mortality Rate (NMR) is very high at 29 deaths per 1,000 live births and has not declined over a period of 15 years.
Working in partnership with local community stakeholders, the Birthing Center and the Emergency Transport System will decrease Uganda’s maternal mortality and provide high- quality, safe and clean maternal care for over 1,000 Ugandan women to deliver with dignity.
