S.O.U.L. warmly partnered with the team at the Rio II Gallery in Harlem who opened their doors with open arms to host an exhibition of Ugandan artwork. Event attendees basked in the beautiful African culture which included photography, jewelry, mulungi, and music. Many took home mulungi items handmade by the S.O.U.L. women in Bujagali. Sales from the event raised $1,300 in just two hours, with 100% of the night's proceeds donated to the SOUL Foundation. Attendees were also treated to two live musical performances by the artist, SEMU, who kicked off the night by singing the Ugandan national anthem, and followed with an acoustic performance of his touching track, "Pair of Wings".
